District 2 Special Meeting Advisory Election Results

District 2 Special Meeting  
TCEC member Gayla James won the advisory election at the District 2 special meeting on Thursday, April 6, in Boise City. The Board of Trustees will consider her for the vacant trustee opening at their next board meeting on April 28.  

More than 100 votes were cast at the meeting, demonstrating the cooperative principle of Democratic Member Control at its best. Chief Executive Officer Zac Perkins answered questions from members during a brief question and answer session. In addition, TCEC Vice President of Engineering and Operations Lyle Mathis gave an update on power reliability improvements in the area.
