Help Hurricane Harvey Victims

The Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives announced today that the Board of  Trustees for the Touchstone Energy Oklahoma Disaster Relief Fund has agreed to pass on individual contributions to Texas to help cooperatives and communities impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Donations to the fund are tax-deductible.

Co-op Connections: Naifeh's Steakhouse of Guymon

TCEC members who present their Co-op Connections membership card at Naifeh’s Steakhouse in Guymon when ordering can buy one appetizer and get one free.

“My dad said this, ‘Good food. Generous portions. Fair prices,’” said Katrina Naifeh-Akers, who owns the family run restaurant along with her son Eric Bauer.

Katrina’s parents started the business 38 years ago. Both have passed on now but their legacy lives on.

2017 District Meeting Results

Meetings were held for TCEC members in Districts 1, 5 and 7 the week of July 31. Since the meetings did not have a quorum, the trustee serving the district shall be declared its trustee in accordance with the Bylaws. The incumbents were the only members filing for their respective districts and will continue to represent their district.

Member Perks at the fair with Co-op Connections

The Co-op Connections membership card is a free perk for TCEC members and businesses. It includes local and national offers as well as Healthy Savings on prescriptions and other services. Members can download the free mobile app for 24/7 access to their card and all offers.

Businesses who signed up through TCEC are exclusively spotlighted for one hour at the 100th Panhandle Exposition Texas County Fair.

TCEC warns members to beware of scammers

TCEC has received reports of scams recently. In one instance, the caller ID showed TCEC and our phone number and the caller asked to verify credit card information. TCEC will never call and ask you to verify your financial or account information. 

TCEC chooses power supply contract with Golden Spread Electric Cooperative

Members will benefit from continued reliable power as the local Tri-County Electric Cooperative (TCEC) Board of Trustees has chosen Golden Spread Electric Cooperative, Inc. (GSEC) as its long-term power supplier.

TCEC issued a request for proposal for power supply and received 44 responses.  Among those was GSEC, which currently supplies power for part of TCEC’s needs. The request for proposal was issued because TCEC’s current contract with Southwestern Public Service (SPS) for approximately 70 megawatts of power expires in July 2021.

Remove weather connection app from your mobile device

The Touchstone Energy Weather Connection app is no longer supported and will stop working September 15. The developer chose to stop providing the app due to its cost.  Please remove it from your phone if you have it installed.
